
Alice first discovered jazz in her teens and was captivated by the voices of Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald. She went on to study music A-Level and Undergraduate Degree focusing on vocals as well as band leading and composition. During this time, Alice also enhanced her guitar proficiency to enable her to better accompany herself.
She Joined The National Youth Jazz Orchestra Academy in 2018, studying with them for 4 years until she earned her place as a vocalist with the professional Orchestra. Since 2022 she has performed all over the country touring with NYJO and Tommy Blaze (Strictly Come Dancing Vocalist) and headlined a sold out Ronnie Scotts Show. Other notable performances with NYJO include The Royal Albert Hall, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho and Vortex Jazz Club London.


Alice completed a masters in Jazz Vocals at Chichester Conservatoire, specialising in the study of improvisation. Since then, she has focused on creating a self contained jazz act to showcase her sultry voice and highlight her guitar skills. She regularly performs at private parties, drinks receptions, corporate events, restaurants, bars, jazz clubs and weddings in the Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset and West Sussex Areas.
Deciding to explore the world after a rocky few years of Covid restrictions, Alice worked on Cunard cruise liner Queen Elizabeth for 4 months as a singer in their Queens Room Orchestra. Performing a mixture of styles, she fronted the 10 piece ballroom band with ease, singing for 3 hours each night. During this incredible opportunity, Alice travelled to Australia, Japan and Alaska. This was her second foray into sea-life having previously performed as a guest musician on Private Yacht M.S The World.


Now back ashore, Alice has been working tirelessly to write, record and release her debut jazz album ‘First Expressions’ set to be released October 2025. Determined to release this work in her 25th year, this album showcases a dynamic collection of original songs and reimagined standards, capturing the essence of love, vulnerability, and the excitement of first impressions. Her carefully selected musicians shine through as young talents themselves ; Saul Hughes on Piano, George Balmont on Bass and Josh Thorn on Drums. Alice’s first experience in the music industry came at age 13 when she was selected from a nation wide talent search to join a charity project run by The Royal British Legion for their Poppy Appeal. ‘The Poppy Girls’ signed with Decca Records (Universal Music) and recorded a top 10 single and subsequent Album, raising money and spreading important awareness for those lost in conflict and those still serving in the UK’s Military. Live performances during this project included The Royal Albert Hall (6 million tv viewers), Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, 10 Downing Street and The Sun Military Awards. Live TV experience included The One Show, ITV Daybreak, and BBC breakfast. Interviews included The Radio Times, The Daily Mail, The Sun and The Guardian.
